Yay for the Dominican Republic, Jinal! I spent last summer researching African American folktales, including lots of beautiful stories from the Caribbean. Now I just need to find a way to go visit there! SOMEDAY.
Hi! My name is Jinal Wani, I am twenty one years old and a third year undergraduate student here at the University of Oklahoma. I am currently studying health and exercise science in hopes of one day being a physical therapist or an athletic trainer. I grew up in Flower Mound, Texas, a suburb on the outskirts of Dallas. Because the stories itself are very short, it is quite manageable to write two sentence story getting the plot across. I did not stray away from the plot events, I merely rewrote them in a shorter fraction. Based of off: Khumbakarna Khumbakar...
